Class Description:
This class focuses on precision piecing and appliqué. Jill will demonstrate her prepared-edge method of appliqué, which creates beautiful results even for beginners, and show both hand and machine stitching techniques with no raw edges.
As an observer, you’ll see how:
Stars in the quilt center are traditionally pieced with accuracy
Appliquéd borders featuring star flowers on vines are added
Jill combines colorful fabrics across a crisp white background to create a bold and charming quilt
Techniques for both hand and machine appliqué produce polished, professional results
This quilt is a perfect size for a bed or table topper, or as a striking wall hanging. You’ll leave inspired and ready to try Jill’s methods in your own projects.
