Required: Sewing machine for class participation
Class Description
Add a touch of handmade charm to your accessories with these stunning Foundation Paper Pieced (FPP) Hexagon Earrings! This class will introduce you to the basics of FPP while you create miniature quilt blocks featuring a star pattern designed by Jenn Wagner.
No prior foundation paper piecing experience is needed! You’ll be guided step-by-step through:
Fabric selection for small-scale piecing
Precise FPP techniques to achieve sharp points
Finishing methods to transform your tiny quilted stars into wearable art
By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a completed pair of one-of-a-kind quilted earrings!
Fabric & Supply Requirements for Class
You will need to bring:
(2) 5" squares of 4 different fabrics (solids, solid-like, or very small prints work best)
Fabric scissors
Paper scissors
Seam roller
Basting glue (washable glue stick preferred)
80 wt thread
Sewing machine
Tableside rotary cutting equipment
Embroidery is not required for this project.
Cancellation Policy
One seat per customer per class (you may register for multiple classes).
Changes to class registration will incur a 10% change fee.
Cancellations 30+ days before class receive a 90% refund (receipt will show a full refund minus a 10% restocking fee).
Cancellations within 30 days of class forfeit all registration fees.
If SHE cancels the class due to low enrollment, you may choose store credit, a class transfer, or a full refund.
