Class Type: Sit & Sew Project – 3-hour class
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly
Class Includes: Hands-on instruction and a complete kit to make one lined zippered bag ($5 kit fee, payable to instructor in class)

Looking for a quick and practical sewing project? This easy quilted zippered bag is perfect for organizing makeup, craft tools, or any small essentials—and it makes a thoughtful handmade gift too! In this beginner-friendly class, Paula Jordan will guide you step by step through the process of making this fully lined pouch with a zipper closure.
This project is fat quarter friendly and can be easily customized. Want it waterproof? Use vinyl for the lining! By the end of class, you'll have a completed bag and the confidence to make many more.

Tips for bag lining and construction
How to adapt patterns for different uses
Techniques for working with fat quarters
Class Prep
No pre-cutting or pattern prep required.
Supply List
Materials:
White or cream thread
Tools & Equipment:
Sewing machine (with power cord and foot pedal)
Zipper foot
Regular foot (#1)
Scissors
BSK (Basic Sewing Kit)
Cancellation Policy
One seat per customer per class (you may register for multiple classes)
Changes to class registration will incur a 10% change fee
Cancellations 30+ days before class receive a 90% refund (receipt will show a full refund minus a 10% restocking fee)
Cancellations within 30 days of class forfeit all registration fees
If SHE cancels the class due to low enrollment, you may choose store credit, a class transfer, or a full refund
